Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship and Program Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with the assigned customers, acting as the main point of contact.
- Oversee aftermarket programs to ensure customer satisfaction and program profitability in line with company objectives.
- Collaborate with internal departments (sales, engineering, supply chain, front office) to ensure product delivery meets company requirements.
- Conduct regular risk analyses and ensure accurate and timely replenishment to avoid shortages.
- Advise airlines on spare parts status where shortages exist.
Technical and Project Management
- Handle all technical and project management issues, managing in-service issues with support from internal stakeholders.
- Monitor service level performance and reliability metrics of seats.
- Conduct on-site product audits, identify and resolve new and existing issues.
- Provide on-wing troubleshooting inspections and participate in Technical Review Meetings.
- Manage defects on-site and liaise with airlines regarding any issues.
- Serve as the focal point for EIS support and gap issues analysis management.
Communication and Coordination
- Interface with, and provide feedback to, Safran engineering support at the home base.
- Facilitate communication between airlines, Safran, and Maintenance Repair Organizations (MRO).
- Prepare and manage formal correspondence and reviews with customers per contractual agreements.
Financial and Budget Management
- Monitor the budget and key customer satisfaction indicators.
- Implement actions to ensure budget alignment with company objectives and policies.
- Follow contract reviews to organize operational management of contractual stock, repair and cost follow-ups, invoices, exclusions, and workforce management.
- Optimize costs to increase margins while maintaining contractual KPIs.
Strategy and Compliance
- Define and deploy after-sales strategies for the client portfolio, adhering to Safran program management milestones.
- Align program strategies across the Safran Seats Support and Services entity for the client portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with the SAFRAN program management framework.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Education
- Master's degree preferred (dependent on job experience).
Experience
- 3-5 years experience in project/program management or stock management (preferably in an aerospace environment).
Skills
- Strong knowledge of program/project/contract management and inventory management.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional organizations.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiating skills; able to work in adversarial business environments.
- Proficient in all standard office software products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of PowerBI is an asset.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
