Business Analyst – Operations and Process Enhancements

On behalf of our Capital Markets client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst – Operations and Process Enhancements for a 4-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s New York office.

Job Description

The project involves managing and contributing to a complex, multi-faceted project and system implementation to meet the strategic transaction banking needs of Global Operations. The role focuses on operations and process enhancements rather than technical aspects.

Responsibilities

Prepare and manage detailed action/project plans
Undertake critical research and analysis to inform current state and best practices
Participate in system training and develop a training program for Operations users
Define a test plan and related test cases for various testing phases
Accurately define business requirements on behalf of Operations
Liaise directly with users, suppliers, and external regulatory bodies

Mandatory Skills

3-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Transaction Products
2+ years of UAT experience
Superior technical knowledge in MS Office tools and process management software
3+ years of experience with business analysis tools and methodologies
3+ years of experience with project management principles and practices

Nice-to-Have Skills

Certification in business analysis
Consultancy or FINtech background

Assignment Length

The contract duration is approximately 4 months with the possibility of extension and conversion to FTE.
