- We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the setup of our standalone financial consolidation and annual reporting capability.
- This role is central to a major organisational separation, making prior de‑merger or separation experience highly valuable.
You’ll work across Finance, Technology, and our parent company, carrying out significant requirement gathering, validating existing documentation, and confidently challenging assumptions. A financial‑sector background, strong documentation skills, and an accounting foundation are essential.
- What You’ll DoLead requirement gathering across Finance, Group, and Technology
- Validate and refine existing BA documentation across consolidation and reporting
- Analyse consolidation, statutory reporting, and IFRS‑driven processes
- Define data flows, mappings, integrations, and reconciliation requirements
- Support testing and validate outputs against expected reporting results
- Act as SME for consolidation and reporting components
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, and vendors throughout delivery
- Produce high‑quality documentation aligned to governance and audit standards
- What You’ll Bring
- Strong Finance BA experience, ideally in the financial sector
- Hands‑on experience with IBM Cognos Controller (preferred)
- Experience with data mapping, integrations, hierarchies, and reporting classifications
- Excellent documentation skills in complex, multi‑system environments
- Accounting background (qualified or part‑qualified) strongly preferred
- Experience supporting de‑mergers, separations, or standalone reporting setups
- Strong stakeholder engagement across Finance, Technology, and third‑party partners
