Senior Business Analyst

We are expanding our Copenhagen office and are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong analytical capabilities and a deep interest in digital, technology, and AI. This role is ideal for candidates who combine structured problem-solving with hands-on experience applying data, tools, and emerging technologies to real-world, client-facing challenges

The role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in client-facing project teams at the intersection of data, research, and executive decision-making, supporting executive search and leadership advisory engagements. You will take a leading role in structuring analyses, driving workstreams, and shaping client output, while working closely with senior consultants.

You will not only deliver rigorous market and talent insights but also actively drive the integration of digital tools, automation, and AI into how we operate - helping to evolve Egon Zehnder’s ways of workingThis is a hands-on and high-impact role where you will:

Lead substantial parts of client engagements Apply advanced analytical and data-driven approaches and act as a sparring partner on how technology and AI can enhance outcomesContribute to shaping how a global advisory firm leverages digital capabilities at scaleYour key tasks and responsibilities:

• Be an integral part of client engagement teams delivering executive search projects, pitch preparation and knowledge management
• Proactively identify opportunities where technology, data and AI tools can improve research workflows
• Build structured analyses of industries, companies, and leadership teams
• Lead systematic candidate identification and map executive talent pools
• Coach and support junior team members in structuring analyses and delivering high-quality work
• Test and apply new tools and ways of working to enhance output and productivity in day-to-day work
• Build clear, concise, and data-backed client deliverables
• Support local and global knowledge initiatives and contribute to sharing and scaling best practices across the firm
• Your Profile:
• Strong experience with, and genuine interest in, digital, AI, and data-driven tools2–5 years of relevant professional experience (e.g., consulting, research, data analytics, or similar)
• Proven ability to structure complex problems and independently drive analyses
• Advanced analytical skills and ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage with senior stakeholders
• Experience working with or experimenting with tools related to automation, data analysis, or AI is a clear advantage
• Ownership mindset, with the ability to operate with autonomy in ambiguous environments
• Intellectual curiosity and a strong interest in leadership, organisations, and markets
