IT Business Analyst - Trading Systems

Permanent opportunity for an experienced IT Business Analyst to join a leading investment bank. This role will focus on design, build and delivery of a new trading system. As such, my client is looking for a Business Analyst with strong work experience with trading systems. In house or vendor based is fine.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between traders and IT teams to gather and document business requirements for trading systems
• Analyse existing trading processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and enhancement
• Collaborate with IT developers and system architects to translate business requirements into functional specifications
• Monitor and report on system performance, user feedback, and market trends to inform future development

Requirements

• Strong experience in trading systems
• Capital markets business knowledge. Ideally in Equities, but other asset classes can be considered
• Strong communicator, able to work with Front Office users
• Excellent documentation skills, able to create functional and technical specifications
