This exciting opportunity puts you at the heart of a large-scale post-trade platform upgrade, collaborating across business and technology teams to make a real impact through system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business owners and users to understand, analyze, and capture business and functional requirements, documenting them clearly and structurally
- Collaborate with IT and/or third-party software developers to ensure requirements are understood and solutions are developed to meet those requirements
- Validate system specifications against functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring full traceability from platform capabilities down to detailed functional specifications
- Develop test scenarios and test cases based on a clear test strategy derived from user requirements and functional specifications
- Systematically document test results and problem logs, and follow up on test cases and scripts
- Support the maintenance of UAT problem logs, and coordinate with the IT development team to identify resolutions and retesting strategies
Essential Experience and Skills
- University degree, preferably in Computer Science/ Risk Management or a related discipline
- 5+ years of business analysis experience within Banking and Financial Services
- Solid domain expertise in OTC and post trade workflows, and especially in Fixed Income and Interest Rate Swaps investment products
- Experience/ strong understanding of Risk Management is highly regarded
- Proficient in Excel, VBA, SQL, and Python is a plus
- Strong communication skills in Chinese and English
- Accountable team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment whilst supporting peers to ensure project deliverable success
