Responsibilities
- In this role, you will shape the future of business by deriving strategic insights through industry and market analysis and trend sensing to achieve next-generation business strategy objectives, and identify emerging business opportunities.
- You will deliver strategy and research results across five critical sectors: AI & Semiconductors, Mobility, Robotics & Electrification, Energy & Sustainability, and Frontier.■ Research & Trend Sensing Leading insights through information collection and analysis Driving processes to derive insights based on industry, market, and technology data Monitoring and summarizing technology, market, and competitor trends in real time Identifying key implications that can be linked to business strategy■ Strategy Execution Support & New Opportunity Development Discovering new business opportunities and establishing strategic directions Researching, analyzing, and reviewing materials related to business strategy directions Leading research on new business ideas, driving business model structuring, and reviewing feasibility Conducting proactive research to address uncertainties during strategy execution■ Functional and Business Unit Strategy Development Analyzing competitive environment and reviewing investment direction Supporting competitive environment and customer analysis for new market entry and business strategy development Researching and identifying candidates for Hyundai Motor Group's investment direction review
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Policy, Business Administration, Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering, or Technology Management Minimum 10 years of experience as an analyst in major corporations, financial institutions, research centers, or related industries in Korea or abroad Experience identifying and developing new business areas within corporations or the investment/fund industry Experience conducting strategic analyses based on a deep understanding of industry policy, regulations, and competitive dynamics Experience in market analysis and decision-making based on trend forecasting Proficiency in English (fluent in both written and oral business communication)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Industrial Policy, Business Administration, Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering, or Technology Management Leadership experience in at least one of the following sectors: AI & Semiconductors, Mobility, Robotics & Electrification, Energy & Sustainability, or Frontier technologies Experience in cooperation with leadership members in the global emerging technology and new business markets Experience in global corporations or overseas markets Experience identifying new business opportunities and successfully bringing them to commercialization Experience as a decision maker within academic institutions, media organizations, or public institutions in Korea and abroad
