Catering District Operations Manager

The Role at a Glance

Join our dynamic team as a Catering District Operations Manager! We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee multiple accounts in the Manhattan, Westchester, and Connecticut areas. This role is ideal for a multi-unit operator with a strong background in high-end catering. Your experience in executing luxury events, both off-premise and on-premise, will be crucial to your success.

We need someone with a track record of managing diverse teams and culinary operations in a high-end hospitality environment. Candidates should reside within commuting distance to NYC.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing high-end catering accounts and ensuring excellence in service and delivery.
• Overseeing planning, budget analysis, and reporting for the district.
• Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and guidelines for consistent application.
• Providing leadership and guidance to food service directors, area managers, and district associates.
• Setting overall direction and planning for your district to meet operational and financial goals.
• Participating in district meetings to align strategies and share updates.

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of management experience in a relevant field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Financial and business acumen.
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in learning software.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Food safety certification from ServSafe and local health authorities.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in foodservice segment management.
• Contract management experience.
• At least two years of experience working in multiple units and clients in a high-volume setting.

Compensation Range

Approximately $150,000 plus bonus.
