Position: Cluster Principal / Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cluster Principal / Operations Manager to oversee the operational, regulatory, and pedagogical standards across multiple preschool centres.
The ideal candidate is well‑versed in ECDA licensing requirements, strong in people leadership, and able to ensure consistent quality across centres.
This role requires a balance of strategic oversight, ground operations management, and the ability to guide Centre Leaders toward excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Cluster Leadership
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to Centre Leaders across assigned centres.
- Ensure consistent implementation of organisational policies, curriculum standards, and operational processes.
- Conduct regular centre visits to monitor quality, staffing, and compliance.
ECDA Compliance & Licensing
- Oversee centres’ adherence to ECDA regulations, licensing standards, and audit requirements.
- Support centres in preparing for licence renewals, SPARK‑related processes, and regulatory submissions.
- Ensure safety, hygiene, and child‑protection standards are consistently met.
Operational Excellence
- Drive operational efficiency across centres, including staffing, enrolment, parent communication, and resource planning.
- Review centre performance metrics and implement improvement plans.
- Manage incident reporting, follow‑up actions, and risk mitigation.
People & Talent Management
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of educators and centre staff.
- Identify training needs and support professional development pathways.
- Foster a positive, collaborative culture across centres.
Parent & Stakeholder Engagement
- Guide Centre Leaders in managing parent relationships and communication.
- Address escalated concerns professionally and promptly.
- Represent the organisation in external engagements when required.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Early Childhood Education, Business Administration, or related field.
- ECDA‑recognised L2 certification is an advantage (for candidates with EC background).
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in preschool / childcare operations.
- Strong understanding of ECDA licensing, regulatory frameworks, and centre operations.
- Proven experience managing multiple centres or large teams.
