Finance & Operations Manager

About the Role
We are partnering with a fast-growing US-headquartered company that is expanding its presence across Asia. As one of the key early hires in Singapore, you will play a critical role in establishing and scaling local operational capabilities while serving as the primary point of contact for finance, people operations, compliance, and corporate administration
This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys building processes from the ground up, navigating ambiguity, and working closely with global stakeholders in a dynamic startup environmen
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Corporate Operations
Manage day-to-day operational activities for the Singapore entity
- Oversee corporate banking, payments, vendor management, and financial administration
- Partner with external accountants and global finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and audit readiness
- Support budgeting, expense management, and operational planning
People Operations
Coordinate payroll administration, CPF contributions, employee onboarding and offboarding activities
Compliance & Govern
- Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements, including ACRA, IRAS, and MOM obligations
- Manage statutory filings, corporate records, and governance matters
- Monitor regulatory developments and proactively identify operational or compliance risks
Regional Expansion Sup
- Support operational setup and execution for new markets across Asia
- Coordinate with external legal, tax, accounting, and corporate service providers
- Establish scalable processes and best practices to support future growth
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in Finance Operations, Business Operations, People Operations, Corporate Services, or a related function
- Strong understanding of Singapore corporate administration, payroll, CPF, banking, and regulatory requirements
- Experience working in a startup, high-growth, or entrepreneurial environment preferred
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and build processes from scratch
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working across multiple functions and collaborating with global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting regional or multi-country operations within Asia
- Exposure to technology, fintech, or venture-backed environment
- Familiarity with outsourced service providers across accounting, payroll, legal, and compliance functions
- Basic understanding of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial controls
