- Serve as the Operations Lead for Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), Operational Control, and IT functions.
- Maintain, review, and update the Compliance Manual alongside internal operational controls.
- Monitor best execution practices for structured product trades and oversee retrocession disclosures.
- Review and approve personal dealing requests and monitor Continuing Professional Training (CPT) completion for licensed representatives.
- Manage liquid capital monitoring and complete the annual Business & Risk Management Questionnaire.
- Oversee comprehensive fund operations, maintain client agreements, and cultivate strong client relationships.
- Supervise vendor service quality and handle company secretarial matters in collaboration with external partners.
- Manage operational activities and controls for subsidiaries based in Greater China.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 5-10 years of experience in a senior operations or compliance role within an External Asset Manager (EAM), fund house, or financial institution.
- Strong technical understanding of financial management, operational controls, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple regional priorities, and solve complex problems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to manage cross-border operational teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and standard financial software.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin for regional collaboration).
