The Senior Analyst - Fraud Operations will monitor fraud performance, investigate anomalies, improve automated detection rules, and translate data insights into practical actions that reduce risk while keeping the customer experience smooth and reliable.

Key Responsibilities * Monitor daily fraud KPIs and identify unusual patterns, spikes, or anomalies through structured data analysis.* Investigate fraud trends and conduct root-cause analysis to understand risk drivers across transactions and platform behavior.* Build a strong understanding of fraud processes, detection tools, controls, and misuse behaviors across digital channels.* Translate fraud insights into improvements for automated fraud detection rules and operational workflows.* Recommend scalable fraud prevention processes that can adapt to changing transaction patterns and emerging fraud methods.* Support the launch of new products, payment methods, and customer journeys by providing risk assessments and fraud prevention inputs.* Own fraud-related KPI monitoring, define performance targets, track progress, and support achievement of agreed OKRs.* Improve fraud metrics, reporting procedures, escalation paths, and workflows in line with industry best practices.* Prepare regular reports that summarize fraud trends, risk levels, mitigation actions, and business impact for leadership review.* Act as a subject-matter expert for fraud-related topics across Finance, Legal, Product, Marketing, Operations, and other internal teams.* Communicate technical and business requirements clearly to Product Managers and support product enhancements linked to fraud prevention.* Work with Data teams to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, dashboard visibility, and fraud performance tracking.* Engage with acquirers, anti-fraud providers, and external partners to benchmark tools, test approaches, and evolve fraud prevention methods.* Balance customer experience, transaction safety, cost control, and operational speed when recommending fraud mitigation actions.

Ideal Profile * 4-5 years of experience in fraud prevention, fraud operations, risk operations, payments risk, or transaction monitoring.* Experience in high-transaction environments such as e-commerce, fintech, digital platforms, marketplaces, or online delivery services.* Bachelor s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.* Advanced degree is preferred.* Strong analytical skills with the ability to process data from multiple sources and convert findings into practical actions.* Proficiency in SQL or BigQuery is required.* Familiarity with Python, scripting languages, or automation tools is an advantage.* Proven experience managing KPIs, tracking performance, and achieving OKRs.* Strong understanding of fraud detection rules, transaction patterns, risk controls, and operational investigation methods.* Able to work with Product, Data, Finance, Legal, Operations, Marketing, and external vendors on fraud-related initiatives.* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain risk findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.* Comfortable working in a fast-paced and complex environment with multiple priorities and evolving fraud risks.
