We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Junior AML Investigator to join our US AML team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or Sanctions, or a minimum of 3 years in banking.
This role is responsible for conducting name screening adjudications, focusing on negative news and Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs). The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret regulatory and internal guidance to make informed, risk-based decisions.
Collaboration with various lines of business will be essential to obtain information necessary for alert resolution.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $ $69,500 - $70,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
