Developer - Web Applications / AI / Financial Services - 35k to 55kI am currently helping our Client seeking a Web Developer to join the team in Hong Kong.

RoleResponsible for designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack web applications, encompassing the front-end, back-end, and database, with a focus on ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

Designing and operating CI/CD pipelines, such as GitLab CI and Jenkins, which integrate unit, integration, and automated test execution, artefact management, security scanning, and deployments to multiple environments.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and AI specialists, is essential to define, design, and implement new features, as well as integrating machine learning algorithms into the web applications to enhance user experience. Identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs, proposing and implementing improvements to existing systems and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required,
• Experience in web development, proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular), and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python). Proven experience in integrating AI/Generative AI technologies into web applications, familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries such as Tensor
• Flow, PyTorch, Lang
• Chain, Llama
• Index, Lang
• Graph, or similar, is also necessary.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and understanding of DevOps practices and tools, as well as knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and management, are important qualifications.
• Experience in the technology stack including Vector DB (e.g., Weaviate, Milvus, Elastic
• Search, Qdrant, etc.), DevSecOps Suite (e.g., JIRA, Sonar, Nexus, Harbor, etc.), and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Loki, Prometheus) is preferable.
