Frontend Web Developer - React.JS, Next.JS, HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS) ⏳ 6-month initial contract - with extensions 🗣️ Arabic speakers required We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End React Developer to join an exciting digital transformation initiative for a leading Dubai government organization.
This role offers the opportunity to work on the complete rebuild of a large-scale, complex digital platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, responsive, and accessible front-end components with React.js. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver pixel-perfect, user-friendly interfaces.
- Translate design mockups and wireframes into optimized, high-quality code.
- Maintain and evolve the design system and component libraries for consistency.
- Ensure best practices in testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Integrate seamlessly with backend APIs and services.
- Ensure compliance with cross-browser compatibility and WCAG accessibility standards.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 6-8 years of proven front-end development experience, with strong expertise in React.js. Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS). Experience with RESTful APIs, Redux/Context API, and Git. Solid background in responsive, mobile-first development.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization and accessibility standards.
- Previous experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with Figma, Zeplin, or Storybook is an advantage.
- Experience working within large, complex organizations-government sector preferred.
- Exposure to real estate services projects is a plus.
