Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Back-End Developer to join our team in rebuilding a secure, scalable, and modular digital platform. This role involves developing robust .NET microservices, ensuring smooth API integrations via Mulesoft, and maintaining secure and efficient data interactions with Oracle databases-all deployed on a Kubernetes-based infrastructure with CI/CD practices enabled through Azure DevOps.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core-based microservices that support scalable and independent deployments.
- Build and integrate secure APIs using Kong API Management, ensuring compliance with integration standards and third-party service compatibility.
- Implement efficient data access layers and procedures for Oracle Database, ensuring data consistency, performance, and integrity.
- Implement workflows and business processes using a an enterprise process automation and BPM platform Collaborate with DevOps engineers to manage CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps, maintaining a fully automated, test-driven release process.
- Work within a Kubernetes on-premise environment, managing deployments, service discovery, and load balancing.
- Ensure security best practices across all services using JWT-based authentication, HTTPS, encryption, and role-based access controls.
- Participate in Agile sprints, code reviews, system architecture discussions, and performance tuning activities.
- Document APIs, services, and database schemas in accordance with enterprise standards for maintainability and onboarding.
- Required Qualifications &
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 6 to 8 years of experience in .NET Core / .NET 6+ backend development.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design, Kong API Management, and integration patterns.
- Solid experience with Oracle databases including writing PL/SQL procedures and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes, especially in on-premise or hybrid cloud environments.
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with JWT and secure API development practices (encryption, token validation, RBAC). Experience in Agile environments with strong communication and documentation skills.
