Acveti is a technology-driven organization focused on building scalable, high-performance digital platforms. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Golang and modern distributed systems to join our growing engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang.
- Build and optimize high-performance APIs using REST and GraphQL.Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including query tuning and performance enhancement.
- Develop and maintain event-driven architectures using Kafka.
- Implement and optimize caching strategies using Redis.
- Troubleshoot complex distributed systems and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues, including HTTP 500 errors and system failures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust, secure, and scalable solutions.
- Monitor application health and performance using observability and monitoring tools.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and low-latency performance across services.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience in Golang backend development.
- Solid expertise in PostgreSQL, including query optimization and database performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL architecture.
- Experience with Kafka and event-driven microservices architectures.
- Expertise in Redis caching and performance optimization.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting distributed systems in production environments.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with performance tuning, scalability improvements, and latency reduction.
- Ability to perform detailed root cause analysis for application and infrastructure issues.
- Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as:
- Azure Application Insights
- New Relic
- Grafana
- Prometheus
