You will support the design, build, and operation of data engineering solutions across the Azure ecosystem.
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to support reporting and analytics.
Develop and optimise SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and aggregation.
Support ETL and ELT processes using Azure-based data tools.
Contribute to data lake and data warehouse solutions on the Microsoft stack.
Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Support self-service BI and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric or similar platforms.
Assist with data processing in Databricks and Spark using PySpark.
Apply engineering best practices such as version control and structured development workflows.
Your Skills and ExperienceStrong commercial experience in a data-focused role.
Solid understanding of data engineering concepts such as ETL and ELT pipelines, data lakes, and data warehousing.
Strong SQL capability, including joins and aggregations.
Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation and scripting.
Exposure to the Microsoft Azure data ecosystem, such as Azure Data Factory, ADLS, or Microsoft Fabric.
Familiarity with Databricks and Apache Spark is beneficial.
Experience using Git or similar version control tools.
