Data Engineer

Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform. Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards. Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products. Be a productive member of the team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with strong expertise in cloud-based data warehouse environments.
• Proven hands-on experience with AWS Redshift, including deep knowledge of: Redshift internals, Workload Management (WLM), Distribution and sort keys, Query execution plan analysis, Performance tuning and optimization techniques
• Strong experience using dbt for data transformation, model development, and analytics engineering workflows.
• Advanced SQL skills with a strong focus on query optimization and performance tuning within Redshift environments.
• Solid understanding of data modeling methodologies including dimensional modeling (Kimball), normalized schemas, and hybrid data modeling strategies.
• Experience with monitoring and performance analysis tools such as AWS Cloud
• Watch and Redshift Console.
• Familiarity with data version control, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development best practices within dbt ecosystems.
