Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent data initiatives across the asset management business.
- Lead the execution of approximately 15 active projects spanning investment data, reporting, analytics, and operational transformation.
- Coordinate and manage external vendors, implementation partners, and internal technology teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Work extensively with distributed development and delivery teams located in Mainland China, providing direction, prioritization, and challenge where required.
- Act as the primary point of coordination between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
- Drive project planning, dependency management, issue resolution, and delivery governance.
- Ensure solutions align with business objectives, architectural standards, and operational requirements.
- Influence stakeholders across multiple teams and functions without direct reporting authority.
- Identify delivery risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Foster a collaborative, delivery-oriented culture across internal and external teams.
Required Experience
- 10-12 years of experience within data transformation functions.
- Strong experience delivering complex data transformation, data platform, or investment technology initiatives.
- Solid understanding of buy-side investment management processes and operating models.
- Experience gained within asset management, insurance asset management, investment banking, wealth management, or institutional investment environments.
- Proven track record managing multiple workstreams and complex stakeholder landscapes simultaneously.
- Experience coordinating vendors, system integrators, and offshore delivery teams.
- Strong understanding of data management principles including data governance, data quality, integration, and reporting.
- Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments.
