An innovative and growing technology organisation is seeking a skilled AI Engineer to join its team in Helsinki. The successful candidate will focus on building and deploying scalable machine learning and generative AI solutions that deliver measurable business value across international markets.

This opportunity is ideal for an individual who enjoys taking models from concept through to production and working with modern AI tooling in a collaborative, product-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI systems, including LLM-based applications
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines for training and inference
• Optimise models for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product stakeholders
• Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve model performance
• Contribute to best practices in MLOps, experimentation, and version control

Requirements

• Several years of experience in AI, Machine Learning Engineering, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensor
• Flow, or scikit-learn
• Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices architecture, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Solid understanding of data engineering concepts and workflows
• Experience working with Generative AI or large language models (e.g. OpenAI, Hugging Face, Lang
• Chain)
• Knowledge of MLOps tools such as MLflow, Airflow, or Kubeflow
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
