DevOps Engineer (Azure)Contract £500 - £600 insideIR35London - Hybrid / Flexible WorkingDigital & Mobile Platforms We are supporting a major organisation embarking on the development of a new mobile application capability and are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to play a key role in building the engineering platform that will underpin the programme.
Working as part of a newly formed mobile application development team, you will help establish the cloud infrastructure, automation, deployment pipelines and operational tooling required to deliver secure, scalable and high-performing customer-facing mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure supporting mobile and digital applications.
- Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable software delivery.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation best practices across development and production environments.
- Support mobile application development teams with deployment, release management and platform tooling.
- Build monitoring, alerting and observability capabilities to ensure platform reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with front-end, back-end and mobile engineers to create a scalable and resilient engineering ecosystem.
- Drive continuous improvement across DevOps processes, cloud operations and security practices.
- Required Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Proven expertise building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and containerised environments.
- Experience implementing monitoring, logging and observability solutions.
- Good understanding of cloud security, networking and operational best practices.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.

- Experience delivering customer-facing digital products at scale.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery environments.
- Exposure to SRE, platform engineering or cloud-native architectures.
