We’re seeking a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and diverse interests beyond work to join our DevOps team and drive innovation from code to customer.

The WhyThe purpose of the DevOps Engineering Role at Ubank is to help develop quality technical solutions that meet both business and customer needs. This involves writing and maintaining infrastructure as code, ci/cd pipelines as well as working with our security, engineering and architecture teams to solve challenging business problems.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help expand delivery capacity and take ownership of meaningful infrastructure work as we continue to modernise our AWS and Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and improve cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure
• Contribute to improvements and infrastructure modernization initiatives
• Work with and support Kubernetes platforms running production workloads
• Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code to provision and manage cloud resources
• Identify issues in existing systems and propose practical improvements
• Collaborate with senior engineers on design and implementation decisions
• Support production environments and participate in operational support when required
• Your Experience:
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based infrastructure (both AWS and Azure)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Experience working with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with building and maintaining CICD pipelines
• Comfortable operating across the stack and learning new areas with guidance

This Sydney-based permanent role requires Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
