DevOps Engineer

The role focuses on contributing to the development and enhancement of cloud platform services within a scalable DevOps ecosystem. The engineer will support continuous delivery initiatives, infrastructure automation, and platform reliability improvements. This includes working within agile teams to deliver cloud-based services via APIs and platform interfaces.

The position emphasizes operational excellence, automation, and adherence to defined engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development activities including coding, code reviews, and sprint ceremonies- Implement and enforce engineering and operational standards across DevOps practices- Participate in agile methodologies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and estimations- Develop, manage, and deploy infrastructure and application components within cloud environments- Produce and maintain technical documentation and ensure knowledge sharing across teamsMandatory skills:- Ansible- Docker- GitHub- Linux- OpenShift- OpenStack- Python- Red Hat Enterprise LinuxSpecific requirements:- Strong experience in DevOps methodologies- Agile/feature team experience- Cloud platform lifecycle managementAppreciated skills:- WebSphere MQ- Open-source ecosystems- API-driven platforms- Infrastructure as Code- Hybrid cloud exposure
