Job Description
- Oversee and support private cloud platforms, including compute, storage, load-balancing components, and related sub-systems
- Carry out capacity planning, routine system maintenance, and patching activities to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues, responding to incidents and providing user support when required
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, operational procedures, and disaster recovery guidelines
- Contribute to infrastructure-related projects, technical evaluations, and proof-of-concept exercises
- Support public cloud environments, including monitoring, deployment activities, and troubleshooting
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- At least 4 years of experience within the IT or infrastructure domain
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience supporting hardware, operating systems, and enterprise platforms, including technologies such as VMware, Cisco, Dell, NetApp, PureStorage, Microsoft, and Red Hat
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) in Data Center Virtualization is required
- Additional certifications (e.g. VMware Cloud Management & Automation, Network Virtualization, Desktop & Mobility, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly regarded
