📝 Rquirements

• 10 years of experience in cybersecurity is required
• 10 years of experience in threat detection and response is required
• Extensive knowledge of computer networking concepts, including LAN/WAN architecture, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), IPsec VPNs, and DHCP/DNS services
• Proficiency with network security technologies, such as Cisco ASA firewalls, load balancing solutions, and SAN storage management
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST standards and COBIT governance practices
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, particularly Splunk or SolarWinds, for log analysis and threat detection
• Familiarity with cloud computing architectures, particularly on AWS and Google Cloud Platform
• Ability to conduct vulnerability research and system hardening using open-source tools
• Knowledge of encryption methods, including PKI certificates, and system security hardening techniques

👩‍💻👨‍💻 Your responsibilities are

• Design and implement network security measures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, VPNs, and encryption protocols
• Execute comprehensive vulnerability assessments using tools such as SIEM solutions and vulnerability scanners
• Develop and maintain system security plans that comply with ISO 27000 standards as well as other regulatory frameworks
• Manage incident detection, response, and recovery by analyzing alerts from various threat intelligence sources
• Oversee identity & access management initiatives using tools like LDAP and Active Directory
• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance the security of operating systems and network devices
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and high-availability configurations for critical systems
