The Role
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of digital marketing activity across all channels.
This role combines commercial accountability, team leadership, and innovation to drive sustainable growth and deliver the Omni Channel Digital Marketing roadmap.
As a key leader within the Online team, this role partners closely with eCommerce, Marketing, Retail, Merchandise, Technology, and Data teams to deliver a seamless omnichannel customer journey.
What You'll Do
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing digital marketing team through coaching, mentoring, and capability building
- Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning
- Encourage experimentation and adoption of new technologies, tools, and ways of working, including AI-enabled marketing practices
- Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner across the business
- Develop and deliver the Omni Channel Digital Marketing roadmap aligned to business objectives
- Define investment levels and ensure strong return on investment (ROI)
- Ensure performance is measured effectively, with clear visibility of incremental omni-channel impact
- Align internal and external stakeholders to deliver strategy with executional excellence
- Develop and execute customer acquisition and revenue growth strategies across paid search, SEO, paid social, display, affiliate, and emerging channels
- Own the end-to-end search strategy (paid + organic) to maximise visibility, traffic, and conversion
- Manage agency and platform partners across Google, Meta, TikTok, and SEO programs
- Monitor and optimise performance against key KPIs including ROAS, CPA, conversion rate, and customer lifetime value
- Lead ongoing testing and optimisation across creative, targeting, landing pages, and customer journeys
- Drive SEO performance including traffic, rankings, and revenue
- Evolve SEO strategy in response to changing customer behaviour in an AI-driven search landscape
- Grow non-brand traffic through content, site optimisation, and technical SEO improvements
- Lead SEO initiatives including site migrations and structural improvements
- Embed AI into search and digital marketing strategies to enhance performance and efficiency
- Leverage AI tools for targeting, bidding, content creation, and reporting
- Build team capability in AI across marketing channels
- Establish governance and best practices for responsible AI usage
- Oversee analytics and insights, ensuring GA4 is optimised and delivering meaningful business data
- Manage external analytics partners and maintain best practice frameworks
- Drive insights into customer behaviour across the funnel
- Lead A/B testing across audiences, creative, offers, and landing pages
- Deliver insights on customer journeys, conversion, and lifetime value by channel
