The role
This is a broad, hands-on marketing role for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with execution. You will work closely with commercial, product, and leadership teams to drive marketing initiatives across brand, product communication, customer storytelling, campaigns, events, and sales enablement.
The role requires someone who can independently own projects end-to-end while also helping shape how Portchain communicates its value to the market.
This is not a purely strategic or managerial role. We are looking for someone who enjoys building, executing, improving, and collaborating across teams in a growing B2B SaaS company.
Responsibilities
- Marketing strategy & execution
- Define and execute Portchain’s marketing priorities and initiatives across customer segments.
- Translate company and commercial objectives into focused marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Product marketing & positioning
- Communicate product capabilities and customer value clearly and effectively.
- Work closely with product and commercial teams to support product launches and feature communication.
- Develop sales enablement materials and customer communication assets
- Customer storytelling & content
- Develop customer stories, case studies, and thought leadership content.
- Strengthen Portchain’s visibility and positioning within the shipping and logistics industry.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and brand communication across channels.
- Campaigns, digital & demand generation
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels.
- Support lead generation and commercial initiatives together with the commercial team.
- Monitor and analyze campaign and channel performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Events & industry presence
- Coordinate Portchain’s participation in industry events, conferences, and webinars.
- Ensure events align with broader commercial and marketing priorities.
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Collaborate closely with commercial, product, customer success, and leadership teams.
- Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, and partners when relevant.
- Help build scalable marketing processes and ways of working as the company grows.
Role requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably within SaaS, technology, logistics, or related industries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience working across multiple areas of marketing, including content, campaigns, events, and product communication.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial awareness and interest in how marketing supports growth and customer engagement.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving and evolving environment.
- Nice to have
- Experience with product marketing or technical product communication.
- Experience in B2B SaaS or complex industries.
- Familiarity with shipping, logistics, or supply chain industries.
