We're launching a new version of our power ICAROS platform and we need a product owner to launch client results. This is prime for an SEO Executive who knows their craft, thinks commercially, and wants to do some of the best work of their career.
About the Role
This isn't a role for someone who wants to set and forget. As an SEO Executive at Covert, you'll own the strategy and execution across a portfolio of performance-focused clients, from strategy development, technical, on-page and off-page through to reporting that actually means something to a business.
You'll work closely with our paid media, content, and development teams to deliver integrated strategies where SEO isn't siloed — it's central.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Product lead
- ICAROS V3Own SEO strategy and execution across a portfolio of B2B and B2C clients
- Conduct technical audits, keyword research, and content gap analysis
- Develop and implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO recommendations
- Translate performance data into clear insights tied to real business objectives
- Run regular reporting sessions and strategic reviews with clients
- Work across Google Analytics, Search Console, Looker Studio, Ahrefs or similar tools
- Collaborate with paid media, content, and dev teams on integrated campaigns
- Identify growth opportunities through competitor research and audience insights
- Stay across algorithm updates, industry shifts, and emerging SEO best practice
- KPIs You’ll Be Measured OnOrganic traffic and ranking performance across accounts
- Technical health and implementation rate across client sites
- Client satisfaction and retention
- Quality and clarity of reporting and strategic recommendations
- What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 4 years' hands-on SEO experience, agency-side preferred
- Strong technical SEO knowledge - crawlability, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema
- Confident with tools like Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio
- Solid understanding of how SEO integrates with paid media and content strategy
- Commercially minded, you think about revenue impact, not just rankings
- Clear communicator who can translate complex data into plain English for clients
- Self-directed and organised with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- Someone who is excited by AI, and using efficiencies to drive client outcomes.
