We are looking for a strategic and commercially minded Martech leader to define and drive the organization’s Martech, Customer Intelligence, and Customer Engagement vision across all customer touchpoints.
This role will lead the evolution of the Martech ecosystem, ensuring customer data, technology, automation, personalization, and AI-enabled capabilities are aligned to deliver measurable business impact and scalable customer experiences.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational execution. They should be highly proactive, capable of influencing senior stakeholders across multiple departments, and comfortable driving initiatives forward within a fast-paced retail environment.
This role sits at the intersection of CRM, Product, Engineering, Data, Analytics, Ecommerce, and Commercial teams, acting as a key bridge between business objectives and technology delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Martech Strategy & Vision
- Define and lead the Martech and Customer Intelligence roadmap aligned to business growth, customer engagement, and digital transformation goals.
- Drive the evolution of customer engagement capabilities across CRM, loyalty, personalization, automation, and customer data platforms.
- Establish scalable Martech governance, operational processes, and best practices across the organization.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer lifecycle management, retention, personalization, and omnichannel experiences
- Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and industry trends to continuously improve the customer experience and Martech ecosystem.
- Customer Data & Personalization
- Lead the Customer 360 vision by improving the use, accessibility, and activation of customer data across the business.
- Partner with CRM, Data, and Product teams to enhance segmentation, targeting, personalization, and customer intelligence capabilities.
- Support the development of scalable audience, experimentation, and engagement frameworks
- Drive a data-led culture where customer insights are translated into measurable commercial outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a strategic partner across CRM, Product, Engineering, Data, Analytics, Ecommerce, and Commercial teams.
- Translate business priorities into actionable Martech initiatives and ensure alignment across departments.
- Lead cross-functional discussions, remove blockers, and ensure initiatives continue moving forward effectively.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making across both technical and non-technical teams.
- Ensure clear ownership, accountability, and communication across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Delivery & Operational Excellence
- Oversee the delivery and optimization of Martech platforms, integrations, tracking, automation, and customer engagement capabilities.
- Drive operational improvements across workflows, campaign enablement, data flows, reporting, and platform governance.
- Establish prioritization frameworks to balance business impact, technical dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Ensure Martech initiatives are scalable, measurable, and aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Partner closely with Engineering and Product teams to improve reliability, scalability, and future readiness of Martech capabilities.
- Skills & Experience
- Required
- Significant experience within Martech, CRM, Digital Product, Ecommerce, or Customer Engagement functions.
- Strong understanding of Martech ecosystems including CRM platforms, CDPs (Bloomreach is a plus), analytics, automation, tracking, and customer engagement technologies.
- Proven experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced retail or digital environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership level.
- Experience translating business needs into scalable operational and technical solutions.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and execution capabilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across both technical and business teams.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to independently drive initiatives forward.
Preferred
Experience within large-scale retail, ecommerce, omnichannel, or consumer-focused organizations.
Exposure to AI-enabled marketing, personalization, experimentation, or predictive customer engagement capabilities.
Experience working with Customer 360, loyalty, segmentation, and customer data initiatives.
Understanding of customer lifecycle management and retention strategies.
Experience managing Martech transformation, governance, or operational maturity programs.
