Purpose of the RoleThe Content Manager is responsible for developing and managing all content distributed across Barter's channels. Working closely with the Community Manager and the Head of Product, the role spans video, photography, design, and written content for both internal and external audiences.
The Content Manager actively contributes to Barter's social media strategy, manages day-to-day channel operations, and generates ideas that strengthen and enrich the brand.
Core Responsibilities
- Content Development
- Develop and manage diverse content formats (video, photography, design, written copy) across internal and external channels.
- Contribute to the social media strategy and generate innovative ideas to grow and enrich the Barter brand.
- Maintain consistent brand identity and uphold brand integrity across all content produced.
- Create and manage User-Generated Content (UGC) briefs and campaigns in collaboration with creators.
- Channel Management
- Manage Barter's social media channels day-to-day, including scheduling, publishing, and monitoring.
- Support the Community Manager on content calendar execution across markets.
- Adapt content for multiple markets and formats as the platform expands internationally.
- Desired Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in content marketing.
- Demonstrated experience creating and managing User-Generated Content (UGC).
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
- Strong skills in developing creative marketing campaigns across formats.
- Flexible mindset and ability to operate in a fast-moving environment.
Affinity with creators and influencers is an advantage.
Experience in a startup or scale-up environment is an advantage.
