This pivotal role acts as a strategic partner in designing Workday Talent and Onboarding Modules, driving innovation and optimizing HR systems through expert knowledge of Workday configurations and design principles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to create efficient, scalable solutions that align with RSM's organizational strategy.

Additionally, you will lead a talented team, manage complex projects, and proactively identify areas for improvement and automation within Workday.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead engaging conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders to build trust.
• Effectively manage the dynamics of cross-border and diverse teams.
• Utilize design thinking principles to enhance strategic design.
• Represent RSM as a Workday Design Partner, influencing and testing innovative designs.
• Provide technical expertise specifically in areas of COE partnerships.
• Anticipate stakeholder needs, developing proactive solutions.
• Build strong relationships with HR partners to understand strategic roadmaps and emerging needs.
• Successfully prioritize major COE-Workday projects in alignment with overall HR strategy.
• Efficiently manage ad hoc requests, defects, reports, and security/access tickets.
• Optimize configuration and operation of Workday modules, providing analysis to diagnose gaps and inefficiencies.
• Document functional requirements, create project plans, and manage testing initiatives for effective organizational change.
• Lead a dedicated team of analysts, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and empowerment.
• Stay informed about upcoming Workday releases and explore how new features can increase efficiencies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Proven record of success in Workday.
• Able to translate functional requirements to technical standards and vice versa.
• Extensive experience in one or more HR areas (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Management, Compensation, Core HR, etc.).
• Experience with Workday system configuration to advise on capabilities and limitations.
• Expertise in solving configuration and integration issues using root-cause analysis.
• Encourage a collaborative environment that values inclusion and diverse contributions.
• Foster partnerships across business clients and team members for improved understanding.
• Demonstrate strategic thinking and planning to guide the team toward success.
• Effective communication to share vision and inspire trust among team members and stakeholders.
