The Role
The HR Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, aligning people strategy with business priorities while supporting the growth and development of DayOne’s teams in Spain.
This role combines strategic HR partnership with hands-on execution, supporting workforce planning, leadership capability, employee relations and organisational development in a fast-growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to support organisational growth, workforce planning and team development.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on leadership, performance management and employee relations matters.
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition to support hiring plans and onboarding of new employees.
- Support organisational design and capability development as teams scale.

- One’s culture and help build an engaged, high-performing workplace.
- Ensure HR practices comply with Spanish labour law and company policies.
- Support implementation of global HR programs and initiatives.
- What We’re Looking For6-10 years of HR experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of Spanish labour law.
- Experience partnering with business leaders in fast-growing international organisations.
- Strong employee relations and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with an HR Information system, preferably Workday.
- Experience supporting full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and work collaboratively across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
