About the role
As HR Country Manager, you will shape and drive organisational effectiveness priorities aligned with the business growth strategy. You will operate within a diverse landscape, including biotech and manufacturing sites supporting our core technologies, as well as our Innovation Centre in Barcelona and commercial teams.
In this role, you will work closely with Global HR Centres of Excellence (CoEs) and Global Shared Services for administrative support. You will act as a strategic HR partner to leaders and employees across the country, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term organisational objectives. This is a permanent role which can be based in Barcelona, Pinto, Granada or Sevilla.
Travel of approximately 15% will be required, depending on business agenda and projects.
Key responsibilities
- 1/ Organisational Effectiveness
- Lead execution of organisational effectiveness priorities aligned with business strategy
- Monitor key organisational effectiveness indicators and ensure corrective actions are in place
- Coach and partner with business leaders to strengthen organisational effectiveness2/ Talent Management
- Drive talent management priorities aligned with business growth strategy
- Shape strategic talent and capability needs; advise and coach leaders on talent pipelining and ensure delivery against key Talent priorities
- Partner with COEs on learning and leadership development solutions; coach leaders to improve effectiveness
- Define resourcing needs; support and challenge leaders on role requirements
- Participate in the selection of critical and leadership roles3/ Reward
- Leverage reward programmes to drive performance and engagement
- Partner with Reward COE to address business needs
- Advise and coach leaders on total reward decisions
- Provide insights to support Reward COE strategy
- Support compensation for senior and critical roles4/ Employee Support
- Support and coach leaders to maintain a positive employee and industrial relations environment
- Ensure compliance with employee relations standards using data-driven action plans
- Provide expertise on complex employee relations cases5/ Employee Experience

- Qualifications and skills
- Previous HRBP experience with in depth understanding of Spanish legalisation and employee relations Delivery of engagement activities and talent management
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Leading creative and agile problem solving
- High level communication skills and gravitas when dealing with sensitive situations and multiple stakeholders and agendas
- Experienced in influencing senior stakeholders in complex change situations
- Coaching
- Change management experience and proven project management skillset.
