The Boeing Company is currently seeking Experienced and Senior Software Engineers to join the KC-46 Tanker Mission Systems Software team located in Tukwila, WA, within the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) organization.
The Mission System Software team supports US Air Force and international KC-46 Tanker customers and other platforms, providing integrated hardware and software solutions that provide tactical situational awareness to the flight crew and aircraft network systems.
The latter enables net-centric applications and beyond line-of-sight communication for the warfighter via secure and non-secure ground networks during KC-46 aerial refueling missions.
This position will include a variety of software development assignments, such as new capability development, delivered capability upgrades, defect correction, and proof-of-concept prototyping via Independent Research and Development (IR&D) activities.
The successful candidate enjoys working collaboratively with others, has a commitment to customer satisfaction, quality and process improvement, and is successful working in a multi-contract/multi-project environment. Position Responsibilities:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range for Experienced Level: $135,150 - $182,850 Summary Pay Range for Senior Level: $171,700 - $232,300 Applications for this position will be accepted until May. 21, 2026 Export Control Requirements: This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required.
