We are partnering with an international law firm. They are now looking for a FP&A Analyst in the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in business planning and budgeting including the preparation of annual budgets for all countries in the region and coordinate with partners across practice groups and business support managers to ensure all planning activities are completed on time.
- Perform financial analysis by utilising various resources to produce regular reports monitoring the Firm’s financial strengths and weaknesses.
- Prepare monthly (and ad-hoc) financial performance information packs for key stakeholders, covering areas such as Management Accounts, Performance Metrics Analysis, Financial Modelling, and Profitability Analysis across Practice Groups in the region.
- Assist in business proposals and pricing to provide detailed financial modelling and analysis for business proposals, including support for new partner elections and lateral hires. Deliver profitability analysis to assist partners during client pitching and pricing reviews.
- Perform Ad-Hoc support and process improvement leverage by accessing to firm-wide financial data to deliver insightful support using technology and data tools. Proactively identify areas for improvement, raise concerns, and collaborate on solutions to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from other regions, including Group Reporting and Financial Systems Support teams, as well as Finance teams in other offices.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
- Hands-on FP&A experience, experience in profession service company is advantageous
- Experience working across different jurisdictions and cultures is a distinct advantage
- Strong financial modelling skills with advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially pivot tables, data sorting, and graphing.
- Ability to utilise advanced technologies such as AI and coding for data handling
- Ability to adapt quickly to new financial systems, prior experience with Elite 3E is an advantage
- High degree of professionalism and accuracy
- Ability to interact effectively with partners and senior managers
