Role MissionYou will lead the transformation of the human resources function into a globally agile, business‑driven organization. As a strategic partner to senior management, this role will align people strategy with business objectives to ensure HR remains a key driver of growth and competitive advantage.
By integrating talent management, culture transformation and organizational development, you will build a modern HR function that supports operational excellence, fosters innovation and enables sustainable global expansion.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will have primary responsibility for HR across the manufacturing plants in mainland China and will lead HR teams in each location.
The role spans the Hong Kong head office, China and Vietnam factories, and regional sales offices in Japan, the United States and Europe, offering a strategic HR leader the opportunity to shape a truly global people function with a hands‑on, operational focus.
Collaborate closely with C‑level executives to align HR strategies with overall business objectives and global growth plans, including leading organizational development by designing and implementing scalable structural and process models such as matrix arrangements that support global operations and enhance efficiency.
Partner with operational and commercial leaders to translate business needs into workforce planning and HR initiatives.
Lead the reshaping of the organizational culture to promote agility, collaboration, innovation and a strong values‑driven environment by championing adherence to the company’s code of conduct and a culture of meritocracy, and by driving change‑management initiatives that align behaviours with business strategy and brand expectations.
Oversee global recruitment, talent acquisition and workforce planning, ensuring top talent is identified, attracted, developed and retained across all locations. Lead succession planning and leadership pipeline development to support long‑term business continuity and growth, while strengthening competency frameworks, career development pathways and learning programs aligned to global business needs.
Design and implement robust performance management systems with clear KPIs, linking HR outcomes to finance and operations, and embed management‑by‑objectives (MBO) practices with consistent performance evaluation processes across regions. Integrate performance data with succession planning to support leadership continuity and organizational effectiveness.
Build and maintain strong employee relations by promoting trust, transparency and alignment across the workforce, reinforcing company values and the code of conduct in day‑to‑day HR practices and communications, and leading engagement initiatives such as employee surveys, feedback mechanisms and recognition programs.
Ensure robust internal controls, compliance and effective risk management across all people‑related processes, while overseeing HR operations, policies and systems to optimize costs, enhance productivity and align HR with operational and brand goals. Provide clear workforce insights, analytics and reporting to support strategic decision‑making.
