As Senior Manager Operations & Infrastructure Policy you will report to the Global Lead ATM and Airport Policy and will be responsible for developing and advancing policy positions and advocacy strategies related to airline operational requirements, aviation infrastructure, and the resilience of aviation supply chain.
You will ensure that regulatory, policy, and planning frameworks support safe, efficient, resilient, and cost‑effective airline operations, including access to reliable infrastructure, services, and inputs essential to airline performance, working closely with internal operational teams and external stakeholders to ensure airline needs are fully reflected in policy decisions.
What Your Day Would Be LikeDevelop and maintain policy positions on airline operations, aviation infrastructure, and supply‑chain resilience.
Monitor, analyze, and assess legislative, regulatory, and policy developments impacting airline operations, infrastructure planning, and supply chain.
Together with the relevant technical SMEs;Draft policy papers, consultation responses, position statements, and executive briefings clearly articulating airline operational and dependency impacts.
Support policy engagement on aviation infrastructure planning, investment frameworks, capacity development, and supply chain optimization.
Advocate for infrastructure solutions aligned with airline capacity requirements, fleet plans, sustainability objectives, and operational efficiency.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure airline alignment on key policies and positions through engagement with the relevant airline industry groups.
Work cross‑functionally with OSS, S&E, legal, communications, and regional teams to ensure coherent advocacy positions and compliance with the advocacy / lobbying framework.
Track progress against advocacy objectives and evaluate policy outcomes at global and regional levels.
We would love to hear from you if10 years of experience, of which at least 7 in a related role, ideally in an aviation or government / regulatory setting.
Policy analysis and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and manage an advocacy strategy.
Sound knowledge in airport or airline operations with at least 5 years of interfacing with airports or air navigation service providers.
Good knowledge in the regulatory and policy framework driving airline and airport operations at global and regional levels.
Capability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Ideally experience of briefing senior leadership and/or policymakers.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines while ensuring attention to detail and that work is of a high standard.
Teamworking and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, including member airlines and policy makers.
Excellent communications skills in English, both written and oral.
