Job Description

English for Asia is seeking to recruit highly experienced and qualified part-time native English teachers (NETs) to teach in primary and/or secondary schools in various locations across Hong Kong. This is an exciting opportunity for educators to be part of a community committed to building a creative learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• To teach afterschool and/or Saturday courses
• To develop creative and interactive lessons using materials provided
• To incorporate additional online learning platforms/resources that will enhance lessons
• To deliver and adapt dynamic, fun lessons to suit students with a range of English abilities
• To be competent in using classroom equipment and devices
• To show commitment and complete all lessons scheduled for the courses

Requirements

• Degree in any discipline and/or an internationally recognised teaching qualification (PGDE, Trinity CertTESOL or Cambridge CELTA)
• At least one year of primary school teaching experience is preferred
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Be enthusiastic, flexible, adaptable and patient

Applicants MUST be either a Hong Kong permanent resident or hold a valid dependant's visa without restrictions to work in Hong Kong. Teachers without the right to work in Hong Kong will not be considered.
