Job Description
We are in search of a passionate, experienced, and highly self-motivated Account Executive to join our team at Encore Media Group. As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling print advertising space as well as digital advertising solutions across our unique portfolio of publications and media platforms.
This position offers a high degree of autonomy and in return an equal part of accountability for performance with external and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Utilize your networking skills and industry knowledge to identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients within the arts and cultural sectors in the Seattle Area.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their advertising needs and objectives, and providing tailored solutions that align with the unique demographics and interests of our readership.
- Sales Presentations: Create engaging sales presentations that effectively showcase the value proposition of advertising with Encore Media Group, highlighting the reach, influence, and engagement of our publications and digital platforms.
- Negotiation and Closing: Employ strategic negotiation techniques to secure advertising contracts and partnerships, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that drive revenue growth for both the client and Encore Media Group.
- Campaign Management: Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate the execution of advertising campaigns, ensuring seamless implementation, tracking performance metrics, and optimizing strategies for maximum impact and ROI.
- Market Research and Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities for business growth and innovation within the arts and culture sector.
- Reporting and Goal Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline progress, and client interactions using CRM systems, and provide regular reports and updates to management on sales performance and achievements.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in advertising, media, or related industries, with a deep understanding of the arts and cultural landscape.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets in a dynamic and competitive marketplace.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in reporting and data analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
