The Opportunity
Where corporate gifting sales meets creative collaborationWe are seeking a dynamic and strategic Key Accounts & Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in our expansion. This is a hybrid role that demands a dual expertise: the disciplined execution of corporate gifting sales and the visionary ability to architect meaningful brand collaborations.
You will be responsible for developing a portfolio that includes high-value corporate gifting and custom product sales, while also identifying, pitching, and closing long-term strategic partnerships with iconic brands in arts, education, entertainment, and technology. Your success will be measured not only by revenue but by your ability to enhance the Moleskine brand narrative through powerful alliances.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Development & Brand Partnerships (50%)
- Proactively identify, pitch, and secure long-term brand collaboration deals (e.g. co-branded capsule collections, licensing agreements, creative projects).
- Develop a robust pipeline of potential partners within key cultural sectors, leveraging market trends and consumer insights.
- Build and manage C-level relationships with potential partner brands, acting as a storyteller who articulates the mutual value of collaboration.
- Key Account Management & Corporate Sales (50%)
- Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate key accounts, focusing on large-scale custom product sales and corporate gifting programs.
- Drive the entire sales cycle—from lead generation and negotiation to contract execution and post-sale relationship management.
- Utilize a flexible business model (direct sales, distribution, specialized partnerships) to maximize revenue and market penetration.
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
- Act as the project lead for all partnerships, coordinating with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Legal, Supply Chain) to ensure flawless execution from concept to delivery.
- Use Salesforce CRM to meticulously manage your sales funnel, pipeline, and client communications.
- Prepare data-driven business reviews, forecasts, and strategic plans for senior leadership.
The Ideal Candidate
- A minimum of 5 years in a corporate gifting sales or business development role, with a proven track record of closing both corporate gifting sales and creative brand partnership deals.
- Experience working with premium/lifestyle brands is essential.A natural connector with a strong existing network in relevant sectors (e.g. arts, culture, education, tech, luxury) is a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to "sell a concept" and build compelling partnership narratives that go beyond a simple transaction.
- Excellent commercial acumen, with strong skills in negotiation, contract drafting, and financial forecasting.A skilled project manager who thrives in a cross-functional environment, navigating internal processes to bring complex deals to life.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required.
