About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and results-driven Group Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across our hotel portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing key business relationships, and securing corporate, group, and leisure business opportunities for multiple properties within the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve group revenue and occupancy targets.
- Prospect, negotiate, and secure group bookings, conferences, meetings, and events.
- Manage key corporate, travel trade, government, and agency accounts.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Conduct sales calls, presentations, networking events, and hotel site inspections.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and quotations tailored to client requirements.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management and Operations teams to maximize profitability.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and activity reports within the CRM system.
- Represent the hotel group at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hotel sales experience, with a strong focus on group and corporate sales.
- Proven success in achieving sales targets and generating new business.
- Strong knowledge of MICE, corporate, leisure, and travel trade segments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales/CRM systems.
