This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Specialist role based in the Kochi Metropolitan Area. The Business Development Specialist will identify, approach, and onboard local merchants such as retailers, grocery shops, pharmacies, salons, and other local businesses to the PayNback platform.
The role involves generating and qualifying leads, conducting market research to map target areas, and presenting PayNback’s value proposition through meetings, demos, and follow-ups. The specialist will maintain strong relationships with merchants, support them through the onboarding process, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and post-launch support.
Daily responsibilities also include tracking sales pipelines, analyzing performance data, and providing feedback from the field to help refine products, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
Key Responsibilities✔ Manage and guide a team of Promoters and Channel Partners across the assigned territory.✔ Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth through channel partnerships.✔ Recruit, train, motivate, and retain Promoters and Channel Partners.✔ Monitor team performance and provide regular coaching and support.✔ Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners to maximize business opportunities.✔ Identify new market opportunities and expand the partner network.✔ Ensure achievement of territory-wise business targets through team collaboration and effective leadership.✔ Conduct regular reviews, meetings, and performance evaluations.✔ Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of business activities.
