Primary FunctionThe Branch Operations Manager is responsible for all safety, administrative, personnel, financial and internal functions of the location. Provides leadership to staff to optimize established levels of business performance objectives service, productivity and quality. Responsible for organizing, motivating and leading the branch operations team.
The Branch Operations Manager will be accountable for key performance metrics.

- Provides leadership and direction to all managers, makes decisions and recommendations, maintains profitability and productivity.
- Manage inventory, shipments (including outside carriers), customer service, fabrication, and warehouse layout, including proficiency in all corresponding software systems, as needed.
- This includes ability to operate all equipment in warehouses, fabrication shops (if applicable), ship and receive, manually lift inventory (with or without accommodation), and function in a customer service and stock listing capacity.
- Continuously develop and maintain customer relationships, address and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner, as well as build relationships inside the company.
- Maintains compliance with applicable government regulations, DOT compliance, and SOPs. Ensure environmental health, housekeeping and safety responsibilities are followed.
- Maintains communication between the branch, District/Regional Operations Manager and Sales Team.
- Understanding of P&L, Budget and Capital Planning.
- Develop multi-year branch business plan.
- Conducts all supervisory responsibilities.
- Maintains a satisfactory rating on Safety and Quality Audits.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
