Job Description

Your Opportunity We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Issuing Product Domain on a 12-month maximum term contract. In this role, you’ll own the vision and strategy for payments and digital product solutions, ensuring every solution delivers exceptional value for our clients and end-users.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll turn ideas into reality and help Cuscal maintain its position as a leader in the payments ecosystem.

You’ll also make an impact by:

Acting as the link between business and technology, eliciting and translating stakeholder needs into clear requirements and user storiesOwning and supporting backlog refinement and prioritisation with the Product Owner, ensuring delivery aligns to business value and prioritiesPartnering with stakeholders to align requirements and solutions with business needs, resolving conflicts and ensuring clear communication across teams

Qualifications

• What you’ll bring
• You’re an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for delivering impactful products.
• You thrive on collaboration, balancing strategic vision with meticulous attention to detail.
• To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
• Strong analytical, prioritisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear requirements
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments, supporting backlog refinement and working with tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders, managing conflicting requirements and driving alignment
• You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:
• Exposure to compliance frameworks such as PCI and familiarity with regulatory requirements in financial services
• Knowledge of cards and payments systems, including experience working with platforms or standards such as ISO20022 or AS2805
