The Role

• A versatile ML Engineer to help build and optimize the core infrastructure that supports AI research.- Works across the stack—from data processing and training efficiency to low-level GPU programming and performance tooling.- Contributes to reliable, scalable, high-performance systems while enabling researchers to understand and improve their models.- Ideal for someone comfortable navigating complex systems, collaborating across domains, and bringing a strong engineering mindset.

What You’ll Do- Design and implement high-performance data pipelines for processing large-scale datasets with emphasis on reliability and reproducibility- Apply state-of-the-art techniques to internal training runs to maximize hardware efficiency- Implement custom GPU kernels- Create observability and benchmarking tools to help researchers understand model and training performance- Build and maintain secure sandboxed execution environmentsWhat We’re Looking For- Experience with data pipeline development and ETL processes- Strong systems programming skills and performance optimization- Strong software engineering skills in Python- Experience writing and optimizing custom GPU kernels- Experience with observability, benchmarking, or performance-focused infrastructure at scale- Familiarity with AI/ML workloads- Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments and collaborating across disciplines
