Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior Analyst to support Security Operations Center (SOC) and Identity and Access Management (IAM) operational activities. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build foundational experience in cybersecurity, access governance, and incident response within a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree (or working toward) in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field0–2 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or related internships
- Basic understanding of IAM concepts (user lifecycle, access controls, authentication)
- Familiarity with security principles and common threats
- Exposure to tools such as Active Directory, SIEM platforms, or ticketing systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication and documentation skills
Qualifications
- Desired
- Knowledge of frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
- Familiarity with multi-factor authentication (MFA) and identity governance tools
- Basic scripting (PowerShell, Python) is a plus
- Relevant certifications (or working toward) such as Security+, Network+, or similar

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools
- Triage and escalate potential security incidents
- Assist in basic incident response and investigation activities
- Document incidents, findings, and remediation steps
- Support vulnerability management and patch tracking efforts
- IAM Operations Support
- Assist with user account provisioning, deprovisioning, and access modifications across systems
- Support access reviews and certification processes
- Monitor and respond to IAM-related requests and tickets
- Help maintain role-based access controls (RBAC) and documentation
- Ensure compliance with security policies and access control standards
Physical demands and work environment
Work is generally sedentary in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
Employees in this position will report to the office 3 days per week. Occasional travel may be required. Onsite work requirements may change at any time.
