The organisation is continuing to expand across Europe and is now hiring an Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen its internal security capability in Milan, one of its key regional hubs.
This is a hands-on role focused on securing the corporate IT environment across cloud, SaaS, identity, endpoints and business applications.
Youâll work closely with regional IT teams, global security colleagues and compliance stakeholders to improve controls, reduce risk and support a more mature security function across EMEA.The business operates in a high-availability, compliance-driven environment, so this is a strong opportunity for someone who wants exposure to security where uptime, resilience and customer trust really count.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain security controls across Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, endpoints, SaaS platforms and business applications.
- Monitor endpoint, identity, cloud and application security events, investigating alerts and supporting incident response.
- Support IAM controls including MFA, conditional access, privileged access, RBAC and access reviews.
- Review security across application integrations, APIs, data flows and automation platforms.
- Support risk assessments, vulnerability management, log analysis, audits and forensic investigations.
- Help drive compliance activity across ISO 27001/27002, SOC 2, NIS2, GDPR and related customer requirements
- Work with IT, security and compliance teams to improve security processes across the region.
- Contribute to incident response, disaster recovery and business continuity planning for IT systems and cloud services.
- What Weâre Looking For
- IT Security Experience: Cybersecurity experience across internal IT, enterprise technology or infrastructure-heavy environments.
- Microsoft & Identity Knowledge: Good understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, conditional access, MFA, RBAC and access reviews.
- Cloud, SaaS & Endpoint Security: Experience securing cloud services, SaaS applications, endpoints, business systems or integrations.
- Security Tooling: Exposure to endpoint protection, EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, email security, identity protection or cloud security tools.
- Risk & Compliance Awareness: Comfortable working with frameworks and requirements such as ISO 27001/27002, SOC 2, NIS2 and GDPR.Practical Communicator: Able to investigate security issues, work with technical and non-technical stakeholders and communicate clearly in English.
- Nice to Have: CrowdStrike, Tenable, Python, PowerShell, Bash or certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CEH.Why This Role

Location RequirementThis is a hybrid role based in Milan, Italy. Candidates should already be based within commuting distance of Milan or have confirmed plans to relocate. Applicants based outside Italy cannot be considered.
