Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs and Denmark’s biggest NGO, is looking for an HR partner to our HR Denmark team supporting our global HQ in Copenhagen and our Danish operations.
Are you an HR partner with experience from HR work in Denmark, a solutions oriented approach and are you skilled at building relationships and supporting leaders so they can use the HR toolbox and create success through their employees?
Our global HR department consists of around 30 colleagues across three teams. We support DRC’s leaders and employees in making a difference for refugees and displaced people worldwide through strategic and operational HR services, including compensation and benefits, recruitment, well‑being, performance, development, and people planning.
You will join the HR Denmark team, which consists of six colleagues, including two other HR Partners, an HR specialist and two payroll colleagues. You will also cooperate with the HR Global team and the HR Operations & Analytics team. The HR Denmark team supports primarily our headquarters in Copenhagen and our operation across Denmark.
You will be welcomed in an exciting and vibrant international work environment where both Danish and English are used daily.
As an HR Partner, you are the primary point of contact for leaders in your departments and responsible for the link between HR and the business — strengthening HR focus in the business and business focus in HR. Depending on your competencies, you may also lead projects. You will report to the Head of HR for Denmark.
Your profileYou have experience from a similar position, ideally as an HR Partner — for example from an international organization based in Denmark. You have knowledge of the Danish labor market and handling HR issues in a Danish context. It is important that you are able to prioritize tasks and thrive in a varied workday.

Start date: 1 August 2026Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the agreement between DRC and AC. This is a national position for which Danish terms and conditions apply.
