Oral Surgery Dental Assistant

Our busy and expanding oral surgery practice is seeking a full-time or part-time surgical assistant to become an asset to our team. We currently have two office locations serving the Southtowns, one located in Hamburg, NY and one located in Fredonia, NY. Our practice is committed to providing high quality patient care in a comfortable and safe environment. We strive to provide consistent specialty surgical care in a positive professional manner.

Pay: $23 - $26 per hour

Requirements

• License & Certification: Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
  Requirements:

Dental experience preferred
CDA or Surgical Technician preferred

Job Description

Responsibilities:

surgical assisting for office procedures
set-up/break-down of surgical suites
assistance with anesthesia and patient positioning
intra/extra-oral radiographs
medical history review
instrument sterilization and infection control
maintain inventory and supplies
post-operative patient instruction and care
